Sacrificio Añejo is made from 50% Espadín and 50% Barril agave. It is aged for one year in half-toasted French oak barrels. This is a mezcal that boasts a well-rounded flavor, with wood, vanilla and ripe fruit. Like all Sacrificio spirits, it is less smoky than most mezcales in the market.

Tobalá is an extremely rare kind of agave, that grows only in the wild. Unlike most other agave, it does not produce “hijuelos”, the shoots or pups that sprout around the main plant once it has matured. Thus, it can only grow from the seed.
